LONDON ORIGINAL PRINT FAIR 2009
The London Original Print Fair at the Royal Academy is one of the most prestigious exhibitions and a must-see for anyone
interested in printmaking. Now in its 24th year the fair attracts the best print dealers from around the world. This year our
emphasis is on British prints with a particularly strong selection of linocuts of the Grosvenor School, following our recent Cyril
Power exhibition. The Powers are complemented by fine and rare works by Sybil Andrews and Claude Flight.
The Fair will be open daily 10am - 6pm from Wednesday April 22 to Sunday April 26
There will be late evening openings until 8pm on Thursday April 23 and Friday April 24
Royal Academy of Arts, Piccadilly, London, W1

Our exhibition of linocuts by Cyril Power, one of the leading artists of the Grosvenor School group of linocutters attracted
one of our biggest audiences to date and the new joint publication with Lund Humphries of Power’s complete linocuts
continues to sell extremely well. The market for these remarkable prints attracts international collectors from the USA and
Canada, Australia and New Zealand as well as a strong UK market. Last year a major touring show in the USA titled
Rhythms of Modern Life: British Prints 1914-1939 included 30 Power prints amongst the 108 exhibits and also included
work by Sybil Andrews, Claude Flight and Lill Tschudi. The show travels to the Wolfsonian in Miami later this year.
